Bible Reading: 1 KINGS 1:5-10

“1 Now king David was old and stricken in years, and they covered him with clothes, but he gat no heat.

2 Wherefore his servants said unto him, Let there be sought for my lord the king a young virgin: and let her stand before the king, and let her cherish him, and let her lie in thy bosom, that my lord the king may get heat.

3 So they sought for a fair damsel throughout all the coasts of Israel, and found Abishag a Shunammite, and brought her to the king.

4 And the damsel was very fair, and cherished the king, and ministered to him: but the king knew her not.

5 Then Adonijah the son of Haggith exalted himself, saying, I will be king: and he prepared him chariots and horsemen, and fifty men to run before him.

6 And his father had not displeased him at any time in saying, Why hast thou done so? and he also was a very goodly man; and his mother bare him after Absalom.

7 And he conferred with Joab the son of Zeruiah, and with Abiathar the priest: and they following Adonijah helped him.

8 But Zadok the priest, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and Nathan the prophet, and Shimei, and Rei, and the mighty men which belonged to David, were not with Adonijah.

9 And Adonijah slew sheep and oxen and fat cattle by the stone of Zoheleth, which is by En-rogel, and called all his brethren the king’s sons, and all the men of Judah the king’s servants:

10 But Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah, and the mighty men, and Solomon his brother, he called not.”

Today, we are dealing with prayers needed to possess your throne or place of honour. Everyone desire to rule and honour, but the enemy always attacks so that such a dream will not come to reality. In our Bible reading, Adonijah the son of Haggath exalted himself to be a king when he was not ordained by God to be a king. He planned to overthrow the kingship of King David. He has institutionalized rigging against Solomon.

Many sisters and brothers could not marry at the right time because the enemy has institutionalized rigging of their marriage. Numerous business is no longer exist because the enemy has rigged the business to another person. Many things that belong to the children of God have been given to the children of darkness because the believers did not take the steps to conquer them.

There are enemies like Adonijah, desire to kidnap your position and war against you so that you will not accomplish the purpose of God for your life. These enemies are not tire or weary to accomplish their evil plan.

In 1 Kings 1:5, Adonijah had been parading himself as a king, when king David was still on the throne, but his effort, strategies and plan ended uselessly.

“Then Adonijah the son of Haggith exalted himself, saying, I will be king: and he prepared him chariots and horsemen, and fifty men to run before him.”

It has been noted that enemies are always against the purpose of God concern the children of God. It is you that should not allow the enemies to overcome you.

In 1 Kings 1:5b, Adonijah prepared for himself chariots and horsemen and fifty men to run before him for this evil plan. This wicked Adonijah prepared very well to use everything he has to overthrow his father, King David. Moreover, the position he aims to take over does not belong to him. It belongs to Solomon.

On many occasions, people have been robbed of their benefits as well as positions. Beloved, you have to be serious with today’s prayers. Be ready to war against the enemies assigned to steal your position, kill you or destroy your future. Don’t allow the devil to cut your life short.

The Bible commanded you to resist the devil and his evil plans. “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” James 4:7

1 Kings 1:7, Adonijah conferred with Joab and with Abiathar the priest; and they accepted to follow and helped him.

Another strategy that Adonijah used to overtake Solomon position is united with the priest and a warrior. These two people agreed to work for Adonijah to accomplish his evil agenda. Beloved, people are there to help your enemy’s carry out their evil plans. Mind you, their plan is scattered already because Jesus Christ is on your side.

“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;” Ephesians 6:10-18

PRAYERS FOR POSSESS YOUR THRONE

1. Anyone that exalts him/herself to take my position of glorification, O Lord Let him/her destroys him/herself in the Jesus name.
2. My Lord and my God, I don’t want to know who is he, where he/she comes from or his/her age, anyone that conspire against me let his/her life end today in Jesus name.
3. Anybody that joins hands together to dismiss my employment, O Lord, disgraces them and disunites them with heavenly confusion in the name of Jesus Christ.
4. Whatever the power they rely on that make them stood to confound my position, O lord destroy all their power with Holy Ghost fire in Jesus name.
5. Any evil power exalted against your promotion is scattered by fire in the name of Jesus.
6. Every step they take in darkness world to stop me from fulfilling my dreams this year let the Host of Heaven destroy it all in Jesus name.
7. Any agenda of the enemy to occupy your position is scattered by thunder, in the name of Jesus.
8. Any plan of the enemy for me to quit or divorce my spouse, O Lord destroys it in Jesus name.
9. By the mighty power of God, I scattered all the enemy conspired against my promotion in the name of Jesus.
10. My Lord, my God, all the false prophets that had been engineer from the pit of hell against my spiritual life, marital issues, business or jobs, let them be put to shame with Holy Ghost fire in the Jesus name.
11. Anyone that is in evil society that joined hands with my enemy to do evil against me, Holy Ghost fire destroyed them all in the name of Jesus.
12. Any force of wickedness assigned to dethrone me, you are a liar, die, in the name of Jesus.
13. Every yoke of a setback in my life, broken by thunder, in the name of JESUS.
14. The enemy of my promotion, die in the name of Jesus.
15. The enemy of my success, you are a liar, die, in the name of Jesus.
16. The enemy of my breakthrough, you are a liar, die, in the name of Jesus.
17. The enemy of my financial success, you are a liar, die, in the name of Jesus.
