THE EARTH OPENED ITS MOUTH AND SWALLOWED THE ENEMIES

Bible Reading: Numbers 16:23-35

“23 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

24 Speak unto the congregation, saying, Get you up from about the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram.

25 And Moses rose up and went unto Dathan and Abiram; and the elders of Israel followed him.

26 And he spake unto the congregation, saying, Depart, I pray you, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs, lest ye be consumed in all their sins.

27 So they gat up from the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, on every side: and Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood in the door of their tents, and their wives, and their sons, and their little children.

28 And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that the LORD hath sent me to do all these works; for I have not done them of mine own mind.

29 If these men die the common death of all men, or if they be visited after the visitation of all men; then the LORD hath not sent me.

30 But if the LORD make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the LORD.

31 And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them:

32 And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods.

33 They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation.

34 And all Israel that were round about them fled at the cry of them: for they said, Lest the earth swallow us up also.

35 And there came out a fire from the LORD, and consumed the two hundred and fifty men that offered incense.” Numbers 16:23-35

There are many ways that God can deal with the enemies that trouble His people. One of such ways is the incident that happened in Numbers chapter 16. Our focus today is to pray that the earth should open its mouth and swallow our enemies. There is no doubt that, many are in confronting the challenges of the enemies in such a way that they cannot progress. The people in our Bible reading today gathered together against Moses thinking that they are doing the right thing, meanwhile, their action is against God.

However, Moses confronts these people with a prayer point “If these men die the common death of all men, or if they are visited after the visitation of all men; then the LORD hath not sent me.

But if the LORD makes a new thing, and the earth opens her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the LORD.” Numbers 16:29-30

Moses’ prayer point in the above Bible verses is “God make a new thing and the earth open her mouth and swallow them up…”

There is nobody as far as this earth is concern that does not walk on earth. There is nobody that lives without an associate with land or ground. Earth is one of the tools we can use to war against our enemies no matter how powerful they are. The people that rose against Moses ended their lives suddenly, and no remedy.

Mind you, you may experience challenges like Moses, the enemies may have a plan to steal, kill and destroy you and your properties, and the enemies may have targeted you to be wiped out from your land. No matter the plan of the enemies against you, the Almighty God is alive to fight for you, but you must call upon Him to rise on your behalf through fervent and violent prayers.

Remember, the moment Moses prayed, he was answered. “And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them: And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods. They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation.” Numbers 16:31-33

The incident was not a vision or a dream. It happened in this world during Moses time!

Who are those walking on the earth planning to war against you? Where are they gathering conspire against you? What are their names? It doesn’t matter, the God that owns you is alive to silence all your enemies. Be courageous, be a focused man and never confuse or afraid any forces stand against you.

The Lord Mighty God want you to remember what He did to the enemies that conspired against His people:

“And what he did unto Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, the son of Reuben: how the earth opened her mouth and swallowed them up, and their households, and their tents, and all the substance that was in their possession, in the midst of all Israel: But your eyes have seen all the great acts of the LORD which he did. Deuteronomy 11:6-7

“The Lord has swallowed up; He has not spared all the habitations of Jacob. In His wrath He has thrown down the strongholds of the daughter of Judah; He has brought them down to the ground; He has profaned the kingdom and its princes.” Lamentations 2:2

Surrender your life unto Jesus Christ, depend upon Him and never join evil people to do evil against the people of God. Don’t afraid or look back. Matthew 11:28, Matthew 7:7.

Fear Not, stand against the enemies now.

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10

“The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid.  What can man do to me?  The Lord is with me; he is my helper.” Psalm 118:6-7

Prayer Against the enemies

1. Father, I surrender my life unto you, deliver me from the forces of the enemies, in the name of Jesus.
2. By the authority in the name of Jesus Christ, I commanded the earth to opened its mouth and swallowed the enemies conspired against me, in the name of Jesus.
3. O ye earth, open mouth and swallow those walking around to destroy my life, in the name of JESUS.
4. My Father and my Lord, send your resurrection power into my life in the name of Jesus.
5. O ye earth, open mouth and swallow all the enemies that sold me out, in the name of Jesus.
6. By the authority that created the earth, O ye earth, open mouth and swallows all the enemies that conspired against my progress, in the name of Jesus.
7. All the forces of anti-success, as you stand on the earth now, receive the judgment of God, in the name of Jesus.
8. All my enemies, the earthquake will swallow you today in the name of Jesus.
9. By thunder and fire of God, I break the backbone of all my family idols, in the name of Jesus.
10. I paralyse every strongman enforcing demonic power against my life, in the name of Jesus.
11. Every strongman hiding in the bush to destroy my life, you are a liar, die and swallow by the earth in the name of Jesus.
12. Every factory of the enemy militating against me, you are a liar, scattered by fire in the name of Jesus.
13. Every assassinator hiding in the bush to assassinate me, receive the judgment of God and die in your hiding place in the name of Jesus.
14. Every spirit of death and hell, my life is not your candidate, in the name of Jesus.
15. Every evil root growing in my family, be uprooted by fire, in the name of Jesus.
16. All agents of destroyers vowed to destroy our land, by the mighty power of God, the ground you are sleeping will swallow you today in the name of Jesus.
17. Every power sitting on my Promiseland, be unseated by fire, in the name of Jesus.
18. Evil spiritual manipulator against the program of the people of God, your time is over, die now, in the name of Jesus.
19. Every evil spiritual partner vowed to wipe out my people, receive divine judgement and die today, in the name of Jesus.
20. Every enemy of my marital breakthrough, lose your hold, in the name of Jesus.
21. Anyone hiding in darkness planned to attack me, the blindness will come upon you now in the name of Jesus.
22. Every spiritual competitor against my financial breakthrough is scattered, in the name of Jesus.
23. By the fire of God, I remove every garment magnetizing anything evil to me, in the name of Jesus.
24. By the fire of God, I destroyed every shrine of the strongman hiding in the bush to destroy my family, in the name of Jesus.
25. Let stones of fire pursue and dominate all the strongmen in this land, in the name of Jesus.
