JESUS, THE ONLY WAY
Scripture Reference: John 14:6
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” John 14:6
Beloved! There is no true way outside of Jesus Christ. Christ was never wrong when he personalised “I am the way”.
Understanding the concept way in this context will simplify the comprehension of the subject matter; “way” in this context means the authentic route or road that you take to reach a place.
Everybody in this world is on a journey and the true to take reach the desired destination is hinged on Jesus Christ, you may be a student seeking for admission in prestigious university of your choice-Jesus is the registrar ( the way), you may be hunting for a fruit of the womb-Jesus is the way, you may be looking for financial breakthrough-Jesus is the way. Brethren, there is, therefore, no way anywhere, JESUS IS THE WAY to all ways; as put by modern scholars A man without Christ is the man with the crisis. God is the creator of all creatures and he sent Jesus to be mankind pathfinder and on no account should a man try to condemn the work of God by undermining it or outsmarting God.
There are tough competitions in whatever you are willing to pursue. You want to go into business, ministry et al-Jesus is the way. And that is the worst mistake so many people have made in the course of their assignment, they left JESUS WAY and went looking for hard ways thinking they are cheap way. As put aptly by the bible; “there is a way that seems right to a man, but the end its end is the way of death” Proverb 16:25 but at the end, it turns to great doom.
Nothing is new in this second generation, great men with tremendous ideologies have gone into that same business, ministry and undertaking you are aspiring to just undertake, it’s only Jesus that can facilitate your success because He knows the way to take you along or through so that you won’t crash.
Beloved, don’t see your ways as the true way but the way of Jesus for the bible has warned that there is a way that looks like the short to jump into what you are pursuing but at the end is kills, so it takes your personal decision to choose the way you shall follow, the JESUS WAY or your way but bear in mind the result put all together at the end.
God wouldn’t have allowed Jesus to foretold if genuinely He is not the way because the word of God is settled in heaven. Psalm 119:89
And I pray that the wisdom to acquire to follow the footmark of Christ be release upon you now in Jesus name.
REASONS WHY SOME CHOOSE OTHER WAYS TO FOLLOW
Want of shortcut. Impatient people have gone into looking for a shortcut to get where they want to be. Some people are in businesses, ministry and other relevant fields of endeavour and they think that approaching one sorcerer, soothsayer, marabout et al will serve as the cheapest way for them to get what they are looking for. But hear what the holy bible said; “there is a way that seems right to a man, but the end its end is the way of death” Proverb 16:25.
Beloved, there is no way if it’s not the way of Christ you are following. The eye of the needle is so narrow and tiny only Jesus can take you through because he is the way. For when Christ is leading or showing you the way all protocols bow at his appearance. Psalm 114
Lack of faith in God. Even though God is the only Creator of all creatures still other people honour the creatures more than the creator. And that was the rationale behind Jesus statement; “Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also” John 15:20.
Impatience. There are so many microwave Christians everywhere, they became born again today, got baptized by water and the holy ghost and the next thing they are waiting and looking for is God miracle in their life. They don’t care to know if what they are asking God for they can handle it appropriately or not for all they want is a miracle, whether it’s the right time or not. Here the bible accounts concerning Paul when he was trapped down by the holy ghost power on his way going to destroy the Believers at Damascus; “And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do” Acts 9:6. Truly Paul had an encounter with Lord but the first thing he inquired from the Lord was, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? Beloved, you get to be patience with the Lord, remember when you were in the pool of sin you never hurried God to destroy you because of your sins so don’t hasten God to do a miracle in your life he knew all his plans concerning you just get right with God and he will release your miracles on its own accord.
Indolent. Christianity or redemption does not exempt one from working, for the Bible itself recognizes the dignity of labour, God worked, Jesus Christ worked as well to the extent that He told his disciples; ”Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work. Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me and to finish his work” John 4:34
JESUS, THE ULTIMATE WAY
The following are the reasons that authenticate Jesus, the ultimate way
He is the alpha and omega. Hence Jesus knows the end of everything or way from the beginning it’s right to follow his way because a man may be taking a wrong way but won’t know until he reaches the last resort but that is not the case in JESUS. “I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last” Revelation 22:13.
And that is the reason why so many people started or founded their undertakings under the wrong foundation either by pouring the innocent blood for business boom or protection or possession of charms for one reason or the other but at the end, they faded into oblivion or couldn’t proceed with the wrong system any longer rather returning to Jesus, the only ultimate way.
Biblically JESUS is the only ultimate way. No word of God is fake or can be edited or altered and that is the reason why the Bible foretold that the word of God is forever settled in heaven. So, if God declared Jesus as the only true way then automatically He is “…I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me” John 14:6”

- Father go with me on this journey of eternity in view in Jesus name
- Father uphold me with your holy ghost power so I won’t fall in Jesus name
- Father coach me perfectly to be patience with you and faithful in Jesus name
- Father destroy every evil thought in me that will make me lose following your way in Jesus name
- Father unto you I hope for success in my life lead me o my gentle Savior in Jesus name
- Father baptize me with your spirit of steadfastness in following you in Jesus name
- Father make way for me where it seems there is no Jesus way in Jesus name
- Father give me the grace to follow you all the days of my life no matter how rough and tough the way may seem to be in Jesus name
- Father disconnect me from the wrong people that will ruin my Christian life in the name of Jesus
- Father give your angels in heaven charge over my life in the name of Jesus
- I clear every Satanic way off my life in the name of Jesus
- Father let my following you not be in vain baptize me with countless sparkling testimonies that will make men begin to follow me to serve you in Jesus
