PRAYER BOMBS FOR ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE

Bible Reading: 2 Chronicles 1:10

“Give me now wisdom and knowledge that I may go out and come in before this people: for who can judge this thy people that is so great?” (2 Chronicles 1v10)

It is popularly said that wisdom is the principal thing in everything one has to do. (Proverbs 4:7) for without wisdom, no one can smell excellence. So to say that in Academic the best thing a student can demand from God is God wisdom and understanding as well as retentive memory. From the quoted scripture we saw Solomon asking God to give him divine wisdom to enable him to govern the Israelites and God added much more benefits to him.

Academic excellence is God-ordained agenda for the students, God is not willing that his children should fail or have carried over in their course of discipline, hear what is been said here concerning Academic excellence of his children; For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind (1 Timothy 1v7).

God has not given us the spirit of dullness or dummy but of sound mind so, therefore, academic excellence is the portion of students in all schools. No wonder God said he wishes that all the students should pass all their papers with flying colours. (3John1v3)

HOW TO TAP INTO GOD WISDOM TO HAVE DISTINCTION IN ALL COURSES DURING SCHOOL

You must be born again. GOD is light and on that note, he can’t harbour where there is gross darkness before God can pour his divine wisdom to anybody he must know that you are part and parcel of his family. Divine wisdom is everyone birthright but until you are born again you cannot have access to it. (John3v3)

Have adequate time for studies. No students can excel in her area of your study without thorough reading. For it is when you read that you can understand what has been taught. No wonder Daniel testified that in his first year on throne as a king he understood how to rule well by the books he read so if you are a student the first time for you to do is to study your books daily. (Daniel 9v2)

Association. When you are on campus disassociate from students who do not have time for studies and other relevant school activities. For association can make you or kill you on campus.

Prayers. Fervent prayers gearing towards academic excellence can help the student to pass out with flying colours. If you are a student you have the right to ask God to give you a distinction in your courses and God will do the same. (Mathew 7v7)

Ask questions. When the lecture is ongoing and there is any you don’t understand, ask the lecturer or the person in charge for clarity than keeping quiet and not known.

Do all your test and assessments and submit them at the right time to the appropriate authority. Test and assessment are the things that boost students CGPA. Always ensure you did all.

10. Father cover all my tests, assessments cum examination scripts with the precious blood of Jesus
11. Father give me an excellent spirit in all my courses in the name of Jesus
12. Father glorify yourself in all my papers in the name of Jesus
13. Father use me to create a record in this school by giving me distinction in all my papers in the name of Jesus
14. Father teach me how to read and understand in the name of Jesus
15. I rebuke marking error over all my courses in the name of Jesus
16. Father when it reaches the turn of the lecturer to mark my test, assessment and examination fill him or her with a sense of joy, happiness in the name of Jesus
17. Father give me the grace to study well and understand in the name of Jesus
18. Father set a watch over my brain and mind to store whatever I shall study in the name of Jesus
19. You dull spirit I command you come out of my life in the name of Jesus
20. I receive the power of the sound mind in the name of Jesus
21. Thank you, father, for being with me all through my semester and granting me distinction in the name of Jesus
22. Father thank you for answering all my prayers in the name of Jesus
