PRAYER BOMBS AGAINST MASTURBATION
Bible Reading; 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
“What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
The human body of every mankind is of the Lord. For God said, “For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s”.
To glorify God in our body system is to do the will of the Lord at all times. So many people have argued on the topic: Masturbation, so claimed it’s not a sin meanwhile some counter the former claim. But referencing from our Bible reading text we understood clearly that God said our body system is the temple of the Holy Ghost and vice versa. Now if our body is the temple of the Holy Ghost, would the Holy Ghost still indwells in us when masturbation has become the order of the day? The Holy Ghost does not reside in every human being for it is only those who purified themselves that can harbour the Holy Ghost. For anyone without the Holy Spirit indwelling in him cannot survive life. The Holy Spirit is the only teacher of life (Luke12v12) and (John14v26).
Now in understanding the role of the Holy Spirit in the body of mankind, how can he dwell in the body that is masturbating often? Now how can one live a successful life without the teaching and direction of the Holy Spirit? You can now believe with me that masturbation is a sin against the person masturbating and God at large.
Masturbation makes the Holy Spirit to flee in the life of mankind thereby leaving humanity to diverse attacks and struggles. Eschew masturbation and let the Holy Spirit take hold of you and drive your life to the Promised Land which is your land of expectation.
STEPS TO TAKE TO OVERCOME MASTURBATION
- You must be born again. In the Christendom born is the first stage where one is deemed to be identified as a Christian, for it’s a born again stage that one has become fully part and parcel of God kingdom. At born again stage one is filled with the holy ghost and it thus teaches and directs one on how to do the right things. (John 3:3)
- Sanctification. Total separation from worldly things, and unbelievers must be your priority. (John 17v19)
- Exit from watching a worldly movie or listening to them. The eyes of every man take into the mind whatever a man see and from the mind diverse thought is generated both bad and good, so if you are fond of watching pornography or listening to secular music they will corrupt and contaminate your mind which is your thinking faculty.
- Fervent prayers can curb masturbation. (Philipians 4v6)
- Seek counselling from your mentors. Seek for advice from your pastors’ et al. “ Thus said the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is a good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein” (Jeremiah6v16)
- Study and meditate on the word of God. Care full study of the word of God can help to overcome masturbation for the word of God is light and a lamp unto humanity
- Flee from sexual immorality. “Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body, but he that committed fornication sinneth against his own body”

- Father with the precious blood of Jesus cleanse me from all my former sins in the name of Jesus
- Father have mercy on all my past sins in the name of Jesus
- Father disconnect my spirit from every evil spirit in the name of Jesus
- Father give me a pure mindset in the name of Jesus
- Father destroy every masturbation spirit tied around my life in the name of Jesus
- Father whatever that is making me masturbate let it catch fire and die in the name of Jesus
- Father separate me from the bad friends that will contaminate my relationship with you in the name of Jesus
- Father take charge over my life in the name of Jesus
- Father glorify yourself in my life in the name of Jesus
- Father enough is enough masturbation leave me in the name of Jesus
- Father restore all my wasted energy during masturbation in the name of Jesus
- Father every former sexual immorality I had with people that might have initiated me into masturbation Holy Spirit wash it away by the Blood Jesus.
- Father allow the Holy Spirit to lead me on how to live my life in the name of Jesus.
- Father I surrender my life onto you let your will be done in my life in the name of Jesus
- Father never allow me to die in the pool of masturbation in the name of Jesus
- Father set a watch over my ear, eyes from hearing or watching a worldly movie or secular music that will pollute my thinking faculty in the name of Jesus
- Father the last time I masturbated make it to be the last time I will ever masturbate in the name of Jesus
- You masturbation I curse you today and forever and I command your roots over me live be withered in the name of Jesus
- With the authority in the name of Jesus, I’m liberated from masturbation, Glory to God in the name of Jesus
- Father thank you for answering all my prayers in the name of Jesus
